Lilo and Chihiro Voice Actress Daveigh Chase Has Passed Away At 35

Daveigh Chase passed away at the age of 35, with reports citing complications from meningitis and a bloodstream infection that led to septic issues. She had been hospitalized earlier in Los Angeles after health complications, including reported malnutrition. She voiced Lilo in Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch,” a performance that became instantly recognizable to anyone who grew up with the film, and also voiced Chihiro in “Spirited Away.” She later appeared in projects like “Donnie Darko,” “ER,” and HBO’s “Big Love,” along with her role as Samara Morgan in “The Ring,” which cemented her presence in live action horror history.
